For far too long, the balance between city centre development and city centre living has been skewed.

Angel Meadow and other parts of our City have been subjected to early morning noisy construction works, sudden road closures, dirty streets and dirty windows.

We, the undersigned, ask the Council to review the following:

1. Noisy construction hours in the morning and early evening

2. Notice periods for road and footpath closures

3. Contributions from construction companies for cleaning windows covered in dust generated from construction sites

4. Contributions from construction companies to clean streets littered with debris and rubbish generated from construction sites

This petition will be presented to the Head of Highways and Planning, Cllr Angeliki Stogia.
